Exercise: You're an event producer with a diverse set of clients. Take this list of events and hire a band to play the event that you feel has the required "musical feel" and image to be appropriate for the occasion. Name the music group or performer's name that would be appropriate to perform at the specific event or occasion, and the signature song they'd play.
Why: Thinking across the divide from life events to musical styles requires an ability to intuitively sense the appropriateness of the artistic expression to the sensibility of the event and audience. Great DJ's know how to read a room and guide its vibe with their song selection. To do this, they incorporate empathy, knowledge, and intuition. To Successfully match music with the essential elements of an event is a prime example of creative awareness.
Enhances Creative Awareness which includes fine-tuning alertness to aesthetics, empathy, and drinking the world around you.
