Exercise: There sure are a lot of people on this planet!  As such, our day-to-day lives are rife with pet peeve perpetrators. People who are a little too close, a little too loud, and operate in a self-first bubble. Let’s call them Micro Villains! And like any good villain in books or movies, they need fleshing out. Choose two offenders from the following list – or add your own! Give each one a villainous label and a fitting punishment (such as a task to perform or a sign to wear). 


Why: Pet peeves perpetrators often take up more of our conscious mind than they deserve. We stew in these slights, replaying them amid the fumes of indignation. In this exercise, we harness that energy as fuel for creative inspiration. You gain power over these slights with positive, constructive action. Neuroscientist Matthew Lieberman showed that when we put negative feelings into words, the activity in our Amygdala - the part of your brain-associated emotion response - is optimized for mental and physical health. 

Enhances Creative Awareness, which includes fine-tuning alertness to aesthetics, empathy, and drinking the world around you.

Crime: People who walk too close behind you.

Name: AssCaddy

Punishment: Spend a week in a giant inflatable hamster bubble to learn proper personal spacing.
