Creative Focus
MASTER CHEF
Exercise: You’re a MasterChef exploding on the world culinary scene. Name the main ingredients and describe the look and taste of your inventive food dishes. Feel free to be whimsical and ridiculous. What’s in them? How do they look? How do they taste? How are they prepared? What was your inspiration or original influence? Tell us about the visual presentation and your unique dishware.
Why: Every creative task requires a willingness to open one’s mind up to the unexpected. But naming is a very particular craft. Creating your story in its shortest form can be quite a challenge—especially when the goal is to differentiate your brand from the competition while staying true to the values it holds dear. It requires a creative focus that involves a combination of logic and your free-associative inner voice.
Enhances Creative Focus which includes deep thinking, focus, pattern recognition, and creative problem-solving.
Example:
Dish: Undersea Snake Pillow
A Chinese spicy sausage on a pork and cabbage ravioli covered with edible seaweed.
