Exercise: Here is are 2 big questions about education - answer them without thinking to much. Really. Don’t stop and think of what the best answer might be or the expected response. Just reply with the first ideas that flow through your mind.
If you could choose one book as a mandatory read for all high school students, which book would you choose?
If you were given 24 hours where everything you read was permanently stored in your memory what would you read?
Why: We tend to think of questions and answers as linear, exact, and technical. We expect every problem to be narrowly confined and every answer to be defensible by conventional logic. And this leads us to question a process before we’ve even completed it. That is analogous to driving with one foot on the brake and one on the accelerator by breaking out of our regular thought limitations to spur creative ideation and bring a sense of fun and unpredictable insight into our ideas.
